North Jakarta Satpol PP Gives Compensation towards 103 Orphans

The North Jakarta Satpol PP injects compensation for 103 orphans at the local mayor's office, on Thursday (3/10).

The compensation given is in the form of school bags, towels, 2.5 kilograms of rice, vitamin drinks, tumblers and Rp 400,000 for each child.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head Arifin who attended in the event said it is a form of gratitude for North Jakarta Satpol PP members and to develop social awareness to others.

"This noble activities will become a charity field and also gives an example of good attitude to the community and orphans as the next generation of the nation," he stated.

In the event, every Satpol PP member also prepares operational vehicles to pick up and take the orphans to go home.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor Ali Maulana Hakim hopes this event can make Satpol PP more humanistic in the eyes of the public.

"Not just enforcing the bylaw, but still acted upon social activities," he hoped.

Similar statement also comes out from North Jakarta Satpol PP Head Yusuf Majid. He stated, by prioritizing the humanism in daily duties is a must for Satpol PP members.

"Our trend has changed. The leadership has emphasized that members put forward humanism in their duties," he said.
